This stunning project, located near the iconic Venice Beach canals, was commissioned by our French client, who envisioned a design blending elegance and functionality. The space features exquisite porcelain tiles with brass inlays arranged in geometric patterns, adding a unique and luxurious touch to the flooring.

In the kitchen, we crafted fully custom Lacquer cabinets with integrated hideaway closets and appliance garages, seamlessly accommodating super high-end Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. Engineered hardwood flooring flows throughout the home, enhancing the natural warmth and sophistication of the space.

A custom-designed staircase serves as a centerpiece, combining modern lines with premium finishes, while five beautifully renovated bathrooms showcase thoughtful design with high-end materials and fixtures. This project perfectly reflects our client’s refined taste, merging European elegance with the laid-back charm of Venice Beach.

This project was all about precision and personalization. Our client wanted something truly one-of-a-kind, so we incorporated full-slab porcelain floors from Porcelanosa with custom brass inlays—installed by hand with surgical accuracy. The result is a space that’s both high-performing and high-fashion.

2. What kind of cabinetry and finishes were used in the kitchen?

We used Supermat lacquer cabinetry for a sleek, matte finish that resists fingerprints and reflects soft light beautifully. We also included a hideaway pocket-door coffee station and combined it with Shinoki white oak and hardwood cabinetry for a subtle layer of natural warmth.

3. What appliances were chosen and why?

The kitchen is outfitted with Wolf cooking appliances for precision performance, Thermador refrigeration columns, and a Sub-Zero fridge/freezer combo—all selected for their reliability, beauty, and professional-grade quality. Every appliance is seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry for a cohesive look.

4. How were the brass inlays achieved without disrupting the tile flow?

This was one of the most intricate parts of the build. We custom-cut and embedded the brass inlays into the full slab tiles with precise measurements to ensure a flush, clean finish. No shortcuts—just craftsmanship and hours of layout planning to get the geometry perfect.

5. Was the design driven more by functionality or aesthetics?

Both—equally. Our client is passionate about cooking, so we prioritized workflow, appliance placement, and storage. But the materials, from porcelain slabs and gold hardware to the layered tones of lacquer and oak, ensure the space feels elevated and elegant at all times.
