This refined penthouse kitchen blends coastal serenity with metropolitan sophistication. At its heart, a dramatic black quartzite island with striking waterfall edges anchors the open space, offering both sculptural presence and functional elegance. Sleek, high-gloss acrylic cabinetry in soft gray tones reflects ambient light, while integrated lighting under the floating shelves and base cabinets creates a warm, gallery-like atmosphere.

White oak wide-plank floors add organic texture and balance the cooler finishes, grounding the space with natural warmth. Custom built-ins and flush panel doors showcase precision craftsmanship and minimalistic design, while matte brass accents and contemporary lighting elevate the overall experience. Designed for both beauty and high-performance living, this kitchen exemplifies modern luxury at its most serene.

Frequently Asked Questions

How did you design the kitchen to still feel open and expansive?
We installed a massive two-slab island that visually anchors the space and serves multiple functions—prep area, seating for barstools, and a dining table extension. It maximizes usability without compromising on style.
The kitchen cabinetry is crafted from high-gloss lacquer in a sleek “gris nube” tone, paired with high-end, integrated appliances for a seamless look. Engineered hardwood floors were installed throughout to add warmth and continuity.
Microcement is a durable, waterproof surface material ideal for wet areas like showers. It provides a sleek, modern, seamless finish without grout lines and has become one of our go-to materials for custom bathrooms.
Yes, the custom walk-in closets were a highlight—each one features precision millwork and integrated LED lighting, combining luxury aesthetics with everyday functionality.
The original layout had a stacked plumbing line running through the middle of the kitchen, which couldn’t be removed. Instead of forcing a redesign around it, we used it as an opportunity to create a custom bar with a built-in wine cooler, adding both function and elegance to the space.
